On August 10, the Provincial Trade Union of Lâm Đồng organized the final round and closing ceremony of the Labor Union Volleyball Championship 2024. Labor union volleyball was organized with 2 sports disciplines: Women's Beach Volleyball and Men's Indoor Volleyball.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Trade Union of Lâm Đồng – Mr. Phạm Văn Được stated that the volleyball tournament was part of a series of meaningful activities of the Provincial Trade Union, welcoming the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Mr. Phạm Văn Được evaluated that this year's volleyball tournament was successful and of high quality. Participating in the tournament were 14 men's indoor volleyball teams and 15 women's beach volleyball teams, belonging to 17 delegations, competing with nearly 400 athletes. They are positive factors, selected from the sports training movement at various trade union levels.
“This is a healthy and useful playground, meeting the needs and aspirations of a large number of trade union members, workers, and laborers. Trade union members and laborers are able to exchange and improve their physical health. It also helps to build solidarity, build the organization, unit, and enterprise to develop” - Mr. Phạm Văn Được emphasized.
According to the Organizing Committee, the tournament had nearly 50 matches. The weather was not favorable, but the athletes competed with enthusiasm and a high level of sportsmanship.
The tournament witnessed many exciting matches and high-quality, visually appealing plays. In addition, the enthusiastic cheering crowd created a lively and exhilarating atmosphere throughout the tournament.
On this occasion, the Provincial Trade Union of Lâm Đồng awarded cups, medals, and prizes to the first, second, and third place teams in each discipline. In addition, they awarded flags and prizes to the teams that won the encouragement award and outstanding athletes.
