On November 29, information from the Bao Loc City Labor Federation said that local leaders had just organized a dialogue conference with union officials, union members and workers in the city.
The theme of this dialogue is "Representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers".
Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chairman of Bao Loc City Labor Federation said that the unit has coordinated with relevant departments, offices and units to advise on organizing this dialogue conference.
At the conference, more than 150 delegates representing more than 9,000 cadres, union members and workers in Bao Loc city participated in the dialogue.
"This is a democratic and practical forum for cadres, union members and workers to express their legitimate aspirations to the Party leaders and city government," affirmed Mr. Nguyen Van Manh.
According to the Chairman of the Bao Loc City Labor Federation, officials, union members, and workers have reflected on difficulties and shortcomings in law enforcement. At the same time, they have sent their thoughts, aspirations, suggestions, and recommendations to local leaders.
Many officials, union members and workers reported that state medical facilities have not yet organized health insurance examinations outside of working hours.
This causes disadvantages for workers participating in health insurance. At the same time, it is recommended that Bao Loc city leaders consider and direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles related to this issue.
Along with that, workers proposed that the Party and State pay attention to building social housing, low-cost housing sold to workers on installments; invest in building facilities and cultural institutions at Loc Son Industrial Park...
Workers also want to have stable jobs to stabilize their lives, feel secure in their work and production, and have more opportunities to participate in cultural and sports activities to improve their spiritual life...
“The opinions and recommendations of cadres, union members and workers are completely legitimate and practical. Local leaders have listened, understood and shared with them. At the same time, they have proposed solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, thoroughly and harmoniously resolving them between all parties,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Manh.
