Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat (from Dong Nai province) said that he used to work at Bao Loc Waste Treatment Plant invested and operated by Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company. However, due to the company's long-term salary arrears, he quit his job in September 2024 to return to his hometown to find another job.
According to Mr. Nhat, the company has repeatedly promised the authorities to pay the workers' wages but has always broken that promise. The most recent time, the company promised to pay today (October 30), but the workers are still waiting.
“We who come here from far away all face many difficulties. The company broke its promise again, so we have to stay temporarily to wait for our salary,” said Nguyen Minh Nhat.
Mr. Le Dinh Ngoc - Vice President of Bao Loc City Labor Federation - said that recently, Lam Dong Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs inspected Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company.

Also during the above period, this company did not pay social insurance for employees with the amount of 427 million VND.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Lam Dong province has requested the company to pay salaries and social insurance for employees by October 2024.
According to Mr. Ngoc, the Union has worked with the relevant authorities to work with Friendly Green Environment Joint Stock Company many times. The company has also repeatedly committed to paying salaries to its employees, but has not done so on time.
“We have supported those in difficult circumstances and provided transportation for those who live far away to return home because they have not received their salaries. The Bao Loc City Labor Federation will closely follow the case to support the workers,” added Mr. Le Dinh Ngoc.
