Attending the program were Mr. Phan Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. On the side of Lao Cai province were Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation and leaders of departments, branches and localities and 350 union members and trade unions from grassroots trade unions in the area.
Speaking at the opening of the Program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Nhiem - Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, emphasized: The "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" program is a deeply humane activity, showing the concern of the Party, State, Trade Union organization and the whole society for union members and workers.


The "Tet Sum vay" program in 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation takes care of 8,200 turns of union members and workers with a total amount of over 6.8 billion VND.
At the Program, Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that trade union levels in Lao Cai province have achieved in 2025. Especially in caring for life, employment, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.


Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh said that the "Tet Sum vay" program has become a practically meaningful activity, clearly showing the role and responsibility of the trade union organization in accompanying workers, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing throughout society.



On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor provided financial support for Tet care for union members and workers in Lao Cai province; in which 3,570 union members received "Trade Union Tet Market" shopping vouchers with a total value of 1.785 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed: In the context of the newly merged Lao Cai province, the work of caring for the material and spiritual life of workers and laborers continues to be identified as an important and consistent political task of Party committees, authorities and the entire political system.



The Chairman of Lao Cai province requested the Provincial Labor Federation to continue to proactively coordinate with sectors, localities, and businesses to better care for the lives, jobs, income, and social welfare of union members and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year.


At the same time, he requested businesses to continue to pay attention to improving working conditions, ensuring regimes, policies, salaries, and bonuses for workers, creating a safe and stable working environment so that workers can feel secure in sticking together and competing in production labor.
