On July 14, the Au Lau Ward Trade Union informed that the Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee has completed the entire plan to inspect and supervise grassroots trade unions in 2026, earlier than the set schedule.
According to the plan, in 2026, the Au Lau Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee will conduct 34 inspections and supervisions and 2 supervisions and social criticisms for businesses according to Decision No. 217 of the Politburo.
Although expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026, the entire content has been completed ahead of schedule.
The inspections focused on the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; management and use of trade union finances and assets; implementation of grassroots democracy regulations; work of caring for and representing the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the same time, the inspection team also supervised the implementation of regimes and policies for employees; the collection and payment of funds, union fees and the activities of the grassroots trade union executive committee.

Through inspection, the Inspection Committee pointed out some shortcomings in the work of archiving records, updating books and implementing the reporting regime.
In addition, the working delegation directly guides and supports grassroots trade union officials to remove difficulties arising during operation, especially at production and business units.
According to the Au Lau Ward Trade Union, the early completion of the plan not only contributes to improving the quality of inspection and supervision work but also strengthens the accompanying role of the trade union organization with grassroots trade unions, thereby improving the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
