On September 19, information from the Sa Pa Ward Trade Union said that within the framework of the "Green Sa Pa" program, the unit has just coordinated with the Sun World Fansipan Legend Trade Union and union members and workers to launch a journey to plant 10,000 new trees for Sa Pa.
The first green trees planted at Sa Pa Elementary School opened the journey to add more green spaces in the locality.
Not only planting trees, the program aims to make environmental protection awareness a regular activity in the community.
With a strongly developed tourism area, the number of visitors and service activities is increasing, preserving the landscape and environmental sanitation is also becoming an important part of building the destination image.
In which, union members and workers at tourism businesses play a significant role when directly working, living and contacting tourists every day.
Responding to the "Green Sa Pa" movement, Sa Pa Ward Trade Union coordinated with grassroots trade unions to implement many activities associated with the actual conditions of each unit.
The focus is on maintaining environmental sanitation, collecting waste, taking care of the landscape, and at the same time mobilizing union members and workers to form civilized and more responsible behavior habits towards the working and living environment.
Sun World Fansipan Legend Trade Union is one of the units actively participating.
Specifically operating in the field of tourism, regularly welcoming a large number of tourists, making the preservation of landscape and environment not only associated with working space but also directly related to the experience of tourists when coming to Sa Pa.
From daily tasks such as keeping hygiene, limiting waste, taking care of the landscape to participating in community activities, each union member can contribute a part to building the destination image.
This spirit is also spread through the image of "Green Ambassadors" - workers who contribute to introducing a greener, more civilized and responsible Sa Pa to nature.
According to the Sa Pa Ward Trade Union, in the coming time, the unit will continue to coordinate with grassroots trade unions in the area to propagate and mobilize union members and workers to participate in environmental protection activities, building green, clean, and safe workplaces.
Along with that, suitable models and ways of doing things will be spread more widely in the community, so that keeping Sa Pa green not only starts from a program but becomes regular actions of people, businesses, workers and tourists.
