On December 15, the leader of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor informed that in recent times, the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; participating in building the Party and building a strong Trade Union organization has been focused on and achieved many important results.
After two years, trade unions at all levels in the province have developed 14,195 union members, and newly established 138 grassroots unions. To date, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has managed 41,266 union members and 513 grassroots unions.
Implementing the leadership of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has developed and implemented the Project to reorganize the trade union apparatus in the direction of "Refined, compact, strong, efficient, effective and efficient".
From July 1, 2025, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has established 11 commune and ward unions. In addition, consolidate and improve the Steering Committee for developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
Up to now, the organization and staffing work in the trade union system has been stable, and activities have gone into order.
The 1st Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, will take place on December 17-18, 2025 at the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command School (Yen Ninh Street, Yen Bai Ward, Lao Cai Province).
