On August 29, the Labor Federation of Ben Luc district (Long An province) organized a program to award scholarships and bicycles to students who are children of union members and excellent workers with difficult circumstances on the occasion of the new school year 2024 - 2025.
Attending were Ms. Le Thi Thu Cuc - Vice President of Long An Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Le Van Loc - Vice Chairman of Ben Luc District People's Committee.
The Organizing Committee awarded 80 scholarships and bicycles to students who are children of union members and workers with difficult circumstances but have overcome difficulties to study well in Ben Luc district, sponsored by Nam Long Investment Joint Stock Company and Ben Luc District Young Entrepreneurs Association. This is a timely source of encouragement, not only helping union members' children have more favorable conditions to continue nurturing their dream of going to school but also reducing difficulties for their families.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Van Loc - Vice Chairman of Ben Luc District People's Committee emphasized that this program is especially meaningful when the scholarships are awarded in a timely manner to commend, encourage and support the children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, who are good students, to prepare for the new school year, and also to share the difficulties with families before the new school year. He hopes that this meaningful program will help to give wings to the children, open the door to a bright future, and support them to achieve success in their studies and in life.
