The Trade Union of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone (KKT) is managing 62 grassroots trade unions (TC), with a total of 38,221 union members, with an average income of 7 - 8.5 million VND.
In 2024, the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union focused on the grassroots level, closely following the grassroots level, thereby planning and implementing practical activities to meet the aspirations of the majority of union members and workers.
As a result, of the 14 targets assigned by the Provincial Federation of Labor, 7 targets were exceeded and 5 targets were achieved. Some outstanding targets: Establishing grassroots unions reached 212.5%; Admitting union members reached 134.8%; Proposing and negotiating with employers to increase the value of meals by 300%; Signing new labor agreements reached 300%.
In 2024, the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union focused on mobilizing resources and regularly organizing practical and effective activities to improve the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
At the 2024 Tet Sum Vay program, the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union spent 1.1 billion VND to take care of Tet for 1,800 union members; The grassroots trade unions mobilized 7 billion VND to support Tet for 30,000 union members.
Directing the Trade Unions to organize "Union Meals" with a total value of meals of more than 1.1 billion VND; mobilizing 171.5 million VND to support 63 workers with occupational diseases at Chau Tien Company Limited.
Along with improving material life, the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union also focuses on taking care of the spiritual life of workers such as: Organizing the "Dong Nam Economic Zone and Nghe An Province Industrial Zone Sports Tournament 2024" with the participation of 1,100 athletes; "Youth Dance - Green Fashion" Contest with the participation of 1,000 union members and workers.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor to 6 collectives and 38 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2024; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Dong Nam Economic Zone Trade Union to 364 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities and other movements.
