In 2025, the Vietnam Trade Union has been affirming its important role in taking care of the welfare of union members and workers through organizing the "Union Flight - Spring 2025" and "Union Train - Spring 2025", bringing 2,400 union members home to celebrate Tet in a free and convenient way.
Previously, for more than a decade, the "Union Buses" have become a valuable brand and tradition, demonstrating the sustainable companionship of the Vietnam Trade Union with union members and workers.
Recently, with the development of means of transport, the Union has expanded its activities from cars to trains and planes, providing more diverse and flexible choices for union members. This not only helps increase convenience but also demonstrates the spirit of innovation and creativity in the care and support work of the Union.
The organization of the “Union Flight - Spring 2025” and “Union Train - Spring 2025” is not simply about providing transportation but also a concrete manifestation of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and Resolution No. 07/NQ-BCH dated August 29, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. These decisions emphasize the concentration of resources to care for the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation, especially in the context of many economic and social changes.
The trains, buses and flights that the Union takes workers from the South and Central regions to the North to reunite with their families on the traditional New Year and vice versa are among the most humane, meaningful and practical activities of the trade union organizations at all levels.
For many years now, they have truly been “Bridges connecting happy shores”, like the famous song lyrics by musician Van An, bringing joy and happiness to thousands of union members and workers.
This is also clear evidence that the Vietnam Trade Union has always made constant efforts and has been doing a very good job in its role and responsibility in improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
The "Union Buses", "Union Trains", "Union Flights" along with Tet markets, gifts and many other activities of trade union organizations at all levels during the Lunar New Year this year not only bring joy and happiness but also peace of mind to union members and workers across the country.
These are humane and responsible activities, making union members and workers always feel secure and confident because they have the union as their "shoulder" - not only in production but also in daily life.
