On June 25, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the work of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers continues to be effectively implemented by trade union levels in the province, especially during peak periods such as Lunar New Year and Workers' Month.
To care for union members and workers, trade union levels have effectively organized the "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program and activities to care for the Binh Ngo Tet 2026 occasion. The whole province has organized 44 "Tet Sum vay" and "Tet meal" programs, with a total budget of more than 212 billion VND, supporting 64,726 union members and workers to benefit.
In addition, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation has implemented the "Trade Union Tet Market 2026" Program for 7,154 workers and trade union officials to participate, with a total support value of 3 billion 577 million VND.
In particular, Trade Unions at all levels welcomed and visited, and encouraged 205 workers working far from home in industrial parks in Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet on Vietnam Airlines' meaningful flight VN 7262. Many gifts and lucky money at the beginning of the year were also handed directly to workers at businesses in the area.
In social security work, trade union levels have supported the construction of 20 Trade Union Warm Houses for workers in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 850 million VND.
In addition, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation continues to support workers in difficult circumstances, who have suffered labor accidents during Workers' Month, April 30 and May 1; and at the same time provides unexpected support for 194 workers at 64 enterprises with a total amount of 270 million VND.
Implementing the Program "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress", the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation has reviewed, received dossiers and requested the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to support 447 union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases in difficult circumstances with a total budget of 513 million VND.
Practical care activities have contributed to encouraging union members and workers to overcome difficulties, feel secure in working and producing, and at the same time affirm the companion role of the trade union organization in caring for the material and spiritual life of workers.
