The tournament has the participation of 126 athletes from grassroots trade unions, agencies, units, and businesses in the ward. Including units: Vinh Phu Ward; Vinh Phu Ward Police; Lotte Vinh Supermarket; Nghe An Friendship General Hospital; Saigon Eye Hospital; Thanh Hung Group; Central Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital; Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital; Son Nam International Transport Company.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, representatives of Vinh Phu Ward Trade Union said that the football tournament is one of the key activities to practically celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth and respond to Workers' Month 2026.
This is also a useful playground, creating conditions for officials, workers, civil servants, and laborers in agencies, businesses, and units in the area to have the opportunity to exchange, practice health, and strengthen solidarity.
Through the tournament, Vinh Phu Ward Trade Union wishes to build an image of healthy, dynamic, creative workers, ready to contribute their strength to the sustainable development of agencies, units and localities.
The organizers requested the players to compete with a spirit of solidarity, honesty, and nobility; the referee team to work strictly, fairly, and in accordance with the law to ensure the professional quality of the tournament.
