On May 7, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the Thanh Chuong Protection Forest Management Board had organized a Congress to establish a grassroots Trade Union.
The Congress is organized to consolidate the trade union organization at the grassroots level, creating a foundation to effectively perform the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
At the Congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Ba Hung - Deputy Head of the Committee was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
The establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Thanh Chuong Protection Forest Management Board marks an important starting point in building a strong trade union organization, contributing to improving the lives, jobs and spirit of workers at the unit.
