On July 13, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a conference to summarize the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ) and trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year; deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2026; and at the same time commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (ATVSLĐ) in 2026.
In the first 6 months of the year, trade union activities in the province continued to achieve many positive results. To date, the Provincial Labor Federation manages 1,593 grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) with 387,528 union members, reaching 92% of the total number of 421,196 workers and employees. The lives and jobs of workers are basically stable, with an average salary of over 7 million VND/person/month.

Trade union levels focused on performing well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers. In the first 6 months of the year, trade union levels chaired and coordinated to promptly resolve 4 collective work stoppages with more than 2,000 workers participating. In addition, 42 supervision sessions were organized on the implementation of labor law, trade union law and social insurance; 996/1,324 enterprises were eligible to sign collective labor agreements (reaching 88%), of which 130 were newly signed; 1,100/1,279 grassroots trade unions of enterprises organized dialogues with workers at their workplaces.
Workers' Month and Action Month on OSH were organized enthusiastically, the Provincial Labor Federation commended 140 typical grassroots trade union presidents, awarded 994 gifts worth nearly 694.5 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances, who suffered from labor accidents and occupational diseases. Along with that, 154 "May Dialogue" sessions were organized with nearly 31,900 union members and workers participating, receiving and resolving 134 opinions and recommendations.
The work of building trade union organizations continued to achieve outstanding results. The whole province newly established 101 grassroots trade unions, admitted 28,471 union members, and substantially increased 26,301 union members, reaching 66% of the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour for the whole year. Trade unions at all levels introduced 315 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admitting, of which 151 union members were admitted to the Party.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
