On January 15, at Phu Da Tea Company (Thanh Son town, Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province), the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union organized the program: Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party in 2025 and presented gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Ngo Thi Anh Tuyen - Vice President of the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union - shared that, with the motto: "All union members and workers have Tet", the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union has directed the organization of the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng", focusing on the grassroots and upper-grassroots levels in accordance with the actual situation, ensuring safety, savings, efficiency, attracting many union members and workers to participate.
Organize visits, give gifts, and wish Tet to union members and workers, especially those who are still in difficulty, have low incomes, suffer from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, have work accidents, are underemployed, have lost their jobs, and are owed wages and bonuses.
The Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union has issued a decision to support 1,379 union members and workers with nearly 1.4 billion VND and directly organized the implementation of "Tet Sum Vay Xuan Ung Dang" in 2 regions, directly giving 249 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances on January 15 in Phu Tho and on January 19 and 20 in the Central Highlands (each gift worth from 1 to 1.5 million VND).
Along with that, implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union has allocated 623 vouchers to union members and disadvantaged workers, each voucher worth 500,000 VND to buy goods on the e-commerce site "Union Tet Market"...
At the program, the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union organized the presentation of 84 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at Phu Da Tea Company, each gift worth 1 million VND (700 thousand VND in cash, 300 thousand VND in kind).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu - (residing in Zone 6, Thanh Son Town), a worker of Team 6 of Phu Da Tea Company - shared: "I have worked at the company for 16 years, the company's leaders and union always care about the lives of workers. Today, I am very honored and touched to receive Tet gifts from the union, this is a very meaningful and timely care and support for us, helping our family have a warmer Tet holiday".
The sentiments and responsibilities of the Trade Union organization in taking care of union members and workers during Tet contribute to motivating and encouraging union members and workers to work with a high sense of responsibility and efficiency, improving labor productivity, product quality, and uniting to build agencies, units, and businesses to grow more and more.
