On January 14, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union held a conference to summarize the Union's activities in 2024 and the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025. Nearly 300 delegates representing 70 grassroots trade unions (including 10 grassroots trade unions under the Central Industry Trade Union participated in the activities) with nearly 6,700 union members and workers participating.
According to Ms. Le Thi Minh Hien - Chairwoman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union, in 2024, the work of caring for and protecting the legal and legitimate rights of union members and employees received timely attention from the Trade Union at all levels. The increase in the basic salary in July 2024 has had a positive impact on the general psychology of employees, encouraging union members, civil servants, public employees, and employees to feel secure in their work.

The Trade Union has implemented many cultural and sports activities, creating a vibrant emulation movement among employees such as: participating in the Football Tournament organized by the General Confederation, organizing a contest for excellent Trade Union Chairwomen, a photo contest of graceful and elegant female union members and workers, a union meal contest... attracting thousands of union members to participate.
Recognizing the great contribution of the grassroots trade unions of the General Trade Union to the workers' movement and the activities of the Khanh Hoa Trade Union in 2024, Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor thanked the efforts of each trade union official and each grassroots trade union in the past time for joining hands to care for and support union members in difficulty. At the same time, contributing to spreading the sports, cultural and artistic movement, improving the spiritual life of workers in the province.
In accordance with the spirit of Resolution 18 and the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor will be streamlined from 4 committees to 3 committees and the dissolution of industry unions, including the Provincial Public Employees' Union, and the establishment of the Government Union and Party Union blocs. The initial dissolution will have changes, but the grassroots unions will be arranged appropriately according to the characteristics of the situation and scale according to the locality or bloc. This policy will improve the scale and promote the effectiveness of Union activities in the coming time.
Mr. Liem also suggested that in 2025, there will be many innovations, difficulties and advantages intertwined, and the Trade Unions will continue to promote the tradition of affirming the role of the Trade Union organization to continue to care for union members and workers.
In order to encourage and share with union members and employees in difficult circumstances at the grassroots unions of the provincial trade unions before the Lunar New Year, Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation supported 120 union members with Sum Vay Tet gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift); Khanh Hoa Trade Union supported Tet gifts for 85 union members (each gift worth 500,000 VND).
These are the Union's Tet gifts sent to union members who are employees working at facilities with difficult economic conditions, low-income grassroots cadres who have to rent houses... so that everyone will have a full Tet.
