On March 27, the Trade Union of the Quang Binh Provincial Government Department held a conference to deploy trade union tasks in the second quarter of 2025; announced the decision to establish a grassroots trade union; awarded prizes for the photo contest "Traditional Ao Dai".
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Tu Thi Thu Hanh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Government Trade Union, congratulated the newly established grassroots trade unions and the grassroots trade unions transferred from 5 industry trade unions and the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union to the Government Trade Union.
According to Ms. Hanh, the consolidation and merger of grassroots trade unions is a step to implement the policy of streamlining the political apparatus, ensuring effective operation.
Regarding the work of caring for the lives of union members and workers, the Standing Committee recommends that grassroots unions review difficult cases, especially those with serious illnesses or those without stable housing, to propose support from the Provincial Trade Union Social Fund. At the same time, promote the movement "Each grassroots trade union - At least one joint activity to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" to contribute to ensuring social security in the locality.
Ms. Hanh said that the Standing Committee of the Bloc Trade Union will focus on organizing activities on the occasion of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the Bloc also awarded prizes to collectives and individuals who achieved success in the photo contest "Traditional Ao Dai". The contest attracted 75 collective photos and 37 individual photos from 6 different industries. The collective tournament includes 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 4 C prizes and 5 consolation prizes. Individual prizes include 1 A prize, 3 B prizes and 4 C prizes.
Ms. Hanh emphasized that the contest has contributed to arousing pride and responsibility in preserving national cultural heritage, while honoring the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women in Ao Dai.
The Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the Quang Binh Provincial Government informed that it will continue to innovate activities, promote emulation movements, better care for the lives of union members and workers, contributing to building a strong team of cadres, civil servants and public employees.
