On April 11, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that Dong Ha Ward Trade Union had just organized an expanded Executive Committee meeting to assess the results of activities in the first quarter, deploy key tasks in the second quarter and implement cadre planning for the 2025 - 2030 term.
At the conference, delegates listened to reports evaluating the results of trade union activities in the first quarter and directions and tasks for the second quarter. Accordingly, in the first quarter of 2026, Dong Ha Ward Trade Union synchronously and effectively implemented key tasks, closely following the direction of the Provincial Labor Federation, the Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward.
Prominent is the work of caring for the lives of union members and workers during the Lunar New Year with many practical activities. The Trade Union organized the program "Tet reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", awarded 100 gifts with a total value of more than 117 million VND; supported 414 union members to participate in the "Trade Union Tet Market" with a total budget of 217 million VND; and at the same time carried out many other visiting and supporting activities.
Propaganda and union member development work continues to be promoted. In the quarter, the unit established a new grassroots trade union, admitting 20 union members. Regimes and policies for workers are being implemented, the employment situation, salaries and Tet bonuses are basically stable.
Also at the conference, the Dong Ha Ward Trade Union commended and rewarded two collectives and three individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2025.
The conference also agreed on a number of key tasks for the second quarter of 2026, including focusing on improving the effectiveness of taking care of union members, promoting union member development, and building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
