On January 13, the Quang Tri Labor Federation (LDLD) said that in 2025, trade union levels will support more than 17 billion VND to care for union members and workers.
With the motto of taking union members and workers (DV, NLD) as the center, over the past time, trade union levels in the province have continuously innovated and affirmed their role as reliable "backbones" in protecting legal rights and comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life of workers. This close attention helps DV, NLD feel secure in contributing, promoting production and socio-economic development.
In 2025, trade union levels supported 32,583 people with a total support amount of 17.3 billion VND, of which the Provincial Labor Federation supported 10.2 billion VND. 420 grassroots trade unions organized the "Tet Reunion - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" Program, attracting more than 20,000 union members to participate. The Provincial Labor Federation implemented the "Online Trade Union Tet Market" Program, supporting more than 4,000 union members and workers who successfully purchased goods with a total benefit amount of 2.4 billion VND.
The Provincial Labor Federation also supported the construction and repair of 131 "Trade Union Homes" worth 4.76 billion VND. Supported workers, civil servants, laborers and people affected by storms No. 11 and 12 with more than 650 million VND. Supported loans and job creation for 83 union members with a total capital of 2.2 billion VND.
In addition, legal counseling work is always focused on by the Provincial Labor Federation, organizing counseling for more than 18,850 union members, helping workers understand their rights and obligations, limit labor disputes; coordinating to inspect labor law, social insurance, occupational safety and health at 38 enterprises and participating in the investigation of 7 fatal labor accidents, showing a resolute supervisory role.
Practical activities of the trade union organization have mobilized the joint efforts of Party committees, authorities, employers and society in caring for the lives of union members and workers; thereby ensuring rights, consolidating trust, promoting union member development and arousing an effective labor emulation movement.
