On May 27, in Lao Bao commune (Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province), the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Dang Dung LB Co., Ltd. This is a meaningful activity within the series of events in response to Workers' Month 2026 of Trade Union levels in the area.
At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to admit 29 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union organization. At the same time, it awarded the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Dang Dung LB One Member Limited Liability Company and appointed the Provisional Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 3 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien - Company Accountant was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Van Tuan - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions right on the occasion of Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health in 2026 is an important milestone, contributing to affirming the role of trade union organizations in enterprises.
To deepen trade union activities, the leader of the Trade Union Affairs Committee proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union soon stabilize the organization, build regulations on coordination between the trade union and the board of directors and internal operating regulations.
In addition, the new executive committee needs to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers to effectively implement the work of caring for life, protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; creating motivation for union members to feel secure in their work, contribute and accompany the development of the enterprise.
