On March 22, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor confirmed that it had developed a plan to organize activities for Workers' Month in 2025.
Workers' Month 2025 in Quang Tri will take place from May 1 to May 31, associated with the activities of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
According to the plan, this year's Workers' Month is organized with the goal of raising awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. At the same time, the program aims to encourage workers to study, improve their professional qualifications and working skills to adapt to modern labor trends in the context of international integration and the 4.0 industrial revolution.
The highlight of Workers' Month 2025 in Quang Tri is the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", in which the emulation activities "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health".
One of the new points of Workers' Month is the "May Dialogue" program and the "Party with Workers - Workers with the Party" forum. This is an opportunity for workers to directly dialogue with Party committees, authorities and employers on issues related to wages, bonuses, and working conditions. The forum is also an opportunity for the Party Committee to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers, thereby making timely and reasonable adjustments.
In particular, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor also organized the "Thank You to Workers" program to honor workers' contributions to socio-economic development. Activities to care for workers' lives such as visiting, giving gifts, receiving periodic health check-ups, and organizing "Union Meals" will also be implemented at many enterprises in the province.
