The competitions include: Decorating Tet landscapes; Displaying Tet food trays; Recycled fashion show with the theme "Workers and the environment".
The “Tet Landscape Decoration” contest had 10 Trade Union teams participating. The units recreated images imbued with the homeland style with thatched roofs, bamboo, banh chung, banh tet, apricot blossoms, etc. The delicately staged miniatures contributed to creating the Tet atmosphere at the Trade Union Tet Market program. As a result, the Trade Union of Billion Industrial Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a miniature landscape themed “Tet in my hometown” won first prize in the contest.
The "Recycled Fashion Show" contest is an activity to promote environmental protection awareness and creativity from waste. The participating teams brought unique and meaningful costumes, demonstrating their talent and creativity in using recycled materials. Materials from old newspapers, plastic wrap, and leftover fabrics in production created impressive costumes. The A&J Vietnam Co., Ltd. Union won first prize in the contest with 6 recycled costumes inspired by marine environment protection, forest protection, and global warming.
In the early days of 2025, at the Economic Zone Trade Union headquarters, the "Tet Tray" contest took place enthusiastically, attracting nearly 20 Trade Unions to participate. The contest is not only a playground for teams to compete, but also a place for generations to meet, share and connect, to preserve and honor the traditional cultural values of the nation. The first prize this year belongs to the Trade Union of A&J Vietnam Co., Ltd., with a tray of food that harmoniously combines tradition and creativity, accompanied by a profound presentation on the value of union members during Tet.
Ms. Doan Thi Thu Hien - Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Women's Union of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Jury of the competitions highly appreciated the quality of this year's competition. The teams all focused on aesthetics and diversity. Hopefully, the spirit of this year's competition will continue to spread, becoming a meaningful cultural activity every spring.
