On April 19, the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Trade Union in coordination with the Tay Ninh Social Insurance organized a conference to disseminate the Law on Social Insurance 2024 and Law No. 51/2024/QH15 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance.
The conference attracted more than 200 union officials and human resources workers at enterprises in industrial parks in the province to attend.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Huan, Director of the Provincial Social Insurance, introduced the basic and important contents of the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Health Insurance, including: rights and obligations of participants, new policies on voluntary social insurance, household health insurance, regulations related to conditions, benefits and accompanying regimes.
In particular, the conference focused on clarifying new points in the amended and supplemented Law on Social Insurance such as: strengthening the rights of employees upon retirement, policies to support people participating in voluntary social insurance, expanding the subjects participating in compulsory health insurance, and measures to limit the situation of evasion and late payment of social insurance in enterprises.
The conference also took time to directly answer questions and concerns of students related to participation procedures, contribution levels, benefits and arising practical situations.
