It can be seen that in 2024, trade union activities have achieved many important and outstanding results such as the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions reaching 300% of the assigned target. The results of the 2024 trade union activities quality classification of the Economic Zone Trade Union are excellent completion of tasks.
In 2024, people in the northern provinces suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 3. The Economic Zone Trade Union mobilized businesses, union members, and workers to join hands to support many essential necessities and the amount reached nearly 3.4 billion VND.
In addition to the achieved results, the Conference also pointed out limitations and difficulties: The rate of negotiating and signing new Collective Labor Agreements at grassroots trade unions is still low, some unions have not yet deeply grasped the thoughts and aspirations of union members, and have not done a good job of participating in and contributing to management work at enterprises.
