On the afternoon of January 13, at Cotec Plastic Company Limited (Phuc Khanh Industrial Park, Thai Binh City, Thai Binh Province), Thai Binh Provincial Labor Federation organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang", giving gifts for the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025 to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province and representatives of the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board, the Provincial Labor Federation, the Economic Zone and Industrial Park Trade Union, along with 50 chairmen of grassroots trade unions in the province, 200 workers in difficult circumstances from 31 enterprises in Phuc Khanh Industrial Park.
At the program, representatives of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor presented a summary report on the results of trade union activities; the care and welfare of union members and workers, especially during the Tet holiday.
Accordingly, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor and the grassroots trade unions directly organized more than 250 "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan An Dang" programs, presenting 99,381 Tet gifts to union members and employees with a total amount of nearly 51 billion VND; organizing the "Union Tet Market" program for 3,580 union members and employees with a total amount of 1.79 billion VND.
In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor also visited and presented gifts to 348 policy families, meritorious people, war invalids, poor households, and near-poor households in the province with a total amount of nearly 200 million VND.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province highly appreciated and commended the efforts and achievements of the Provincial Labor Federation and trade union organizations at all levels in the province in the recent past in ensuring and taking care of the welfare of union members and workers; at the same time, he hoped and requested that trade unions at all levels should promote and make more efforts, all for the sake of workers, especially workers in difficult circumstances, especially during the Tet holiday.
Regarding Cotec Plastic Company Limited, the Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy and excitement that the enterprise has been and continues to develop sustainably and long-term in the locality for the past 20 years, thereby creating jobs and stable income for thousands of workers.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Than hopes and requests the company's management to continue to invest in further development and expansion, constantly improving the income and living standards of workers. In addition, workers need to accompany and respond to the concern and care of the enterprise by constantly striving to compete and produce to increase labor productivity, creating many valuable products so that the material and spiritual life of the whole group is always higher year after year.
On this occasion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province Nguyen Khac Than and delegates presented 200 Tet gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council, Provincial People's Committee to union members and employees of Cotec Plastic Company Limited and union members and employees of enterprises in Phuc Khanh Industrial Park.
Also at the program, the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor awarded 12 grassroots trade unions in the province for their good performance in caring for union members and workers in 2024. In addition, the Economic Zone and Industrial Zone Trade Union of the province also held a lucky draw for union members and workers with 16 gifts, totaling nearly 20 million VND.
