On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 62/2024/UBTVQH15 on extending the implementation period of Resolution No. 09/2021/UBTVQH15 dated December 8, 2021 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on social insurance and unemployment insurance management costs for the 2022-2024 period.
Accordingly, the implementation period of Resolution No. 09/2021/UBTVQH15 dated December 8, 2021 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on social insurance and unemployment insurance management costs for the 2022-2024 period will be extended to June 30, 2025 with the following management costs:
The maximum social insurance management cost in 2025 is 1.44% of the estimated social insurance revenue and expenditure (excluding health insurance premiums for social insurance beneficiaries) and is deducted from the profits from investment activities of the social insurance fund.
The maximum unemployment insurance management cost in 2025 is 1.44% of the estimated unemployment insurance revenue and expenditure (excluding health insurance premiums for unemployment insurance beneficiaries) deducted from the unemployment insurance fund.
Before June 30, 2025, the Government shall report to the National Assembly Standing Committee on the implementation of social insurance and unemployment insurance management costs for the period 2022 - 2024 and the first 6 months of 2025.
Thereby, proposing the level of expenditure for organizing and operating social insurance and unemployment insurance for the period 2025 - 2027 (including the first 6 months of 2025) on the basis of innovation and restructuring of the organizational apparatus.
This Resolution comes into force from January 1, 2025.
