On the occasion of the New Year 2025 and preparation for the Lunar New Year of At Ty, on January 12, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, the working delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) led by Chief Prosecutor Nguyen Huy Tien visited and presented Tet gifts to encourage 300 workers and laborers in difficult circumstances working in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province).
Also attending the working delegation were Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Procuracy; leaders and officers of a number of departments under the Supreme People's Procuracy; and representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Also attending the ceremony to present Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh Province Nguyen Khac Than; leaders of the People's Procuracy of Thai Binh Province, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation and representatives of leaders of a number of related units; leaders of Green i-Park Joint Stock Company (infrastructure investor of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park).
At the program, the representative of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor briefly reported to the working delegation on some outstanding results of the union's activities in the past year, especially the results of taking care of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, as well as the work contents that have been, are being, and will be carried out to care for, support, and encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien - Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy expressed his joy when visiting Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park and meeting and encouraging union members, workers, especially those in difficult circumstances working here.
"Tet is an opportunity for us to look back on the journey we have traveled, the achievements of the past year, and also a time for family and friends to gather and reunite. Tet is also an opportunity for the whole community to show their care and respect for workers - those who have made silent but extremely important contributions to the socio-economic development of the country" - Mr. Tien said.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy said he was very impressed with the results that Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park has achieved in recent times.
Notably, within just 3 years, this Industrial Park has attracted nearly 30 projects with a total investment capital of over 1.5 billion USD - a very impressive number, showing the strong attraction of this place to large domestic and foreign investors.
Mr. Tien added: "On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy brought a small gift to give to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. I hope that, entering the new year, you will continue to maintain the spirit of hard work, constantly learning and being creative to complete the assigned tasks well."
At the program, the delegation of the Supreme People's Procuracy presented 200 gifts (each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 300,000 VND); the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Thai Binh province presented 100 gifts (each gift includes 800,000 VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances working at companies, factories and enterprises in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.
