Establishing 2 more grassroots trade unions in Thai Nguyen

    Thai Nguyen - The establishment of grassroots trade unions helps ensure the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

    Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation has just organized a Conference to announce the Decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Thanh Dat Wooden Spoon Production and Import-Export Co., Ltd. and the grassroots Trade Union of Bac Kan Production, Trading, Service and Import-Export Co., Ltd.

    Attending the Conference were Ms. Do Thi Hien - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation, officials in charge of Trade Union Region 4; representatives of local leaders; leaders and boards of directors of two enterprises, along with union members and workers.

    At the conference, the organizing committee announced decisions to admit union members, establish grassroots trade unions and recognize the grassroots trade union executive committee. The grassroots trade union executive committees of the two units were launched and received their assignments.

    On this occasion, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation presented congratulatory gifts to two grassroots trade unions and 5 gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances.
