On June 14, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that in the past time, the Quang Phu Ward Trade Union has implemented many practical and meaningful activities towards grassroots levels, caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in agencies, units, and businesses in the area.
Quang Phu Ward Trade Union currently manages 40 grassroots trade unions with 5,694 union members. The Ward Trade Union has strengthened supervision of the implementation of regimes and policies for workers; promptly grasped thoughts and aspirations to coordinate in solving arising difficulties and obstacles.
Along with that, activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers were effectively implemented. On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, grassroots trade unions presented 1,810 gifts with a total value of more than 1 billion VND to union members and workers. In Workers' Month 2026, the ward trade union presented 139 gifts worth 129 million VND to union members in difficult circumstances, sick workers, and people with dangerous diseases.
Emulation movements continue to be promoted, attracting a large number of union members to participate. Since the beginning of the year, 56 initiatives and topics have been applied in practice, bringing economic efficiency of billions of VND.
The work of developing union members and building trade union organizations achieved many positive results with 82 new union members admitted, and the establishment of 1 new grassroots trade union of FDI enterprises. Grassroots trade unions also introduced 47 outstanding union members for the Party to consider, of which 23 comrades were admitted.
In the coming time, Quang Phu Ward Trade Union will continue to innovate its activities, promote care and protection of the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; launch patriotic emulation movements, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
