On September 16, Mr. Vo Manh Son - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the working delegation visited the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to support union members and workers affected by storm No. 3.
Through the Hai Phong City Labor Federation and the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, Mr. Vo Manh Son and the delegation sent their condolences and encouragement to the families of union members and workers affected by the storm and flood.
Mr. Vo Manh Son hopes that the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, Quang Ninh Province Labor Federation and all levels of unions will continue to join hands to care for and share the hardships with union members and workers in the area, hoping that union members, workers and people affected and severely damaged by storms and floods will soon stabilize their lives.
According to Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor Vo Manh Son, in order to promote the spirit of solidarity, "mutual love and affection", actively participate in supporting, sharing, and helping materially and spiritually with union members and workers in provinces facing difficulties due to the impact of storms and floods, contributing to supporting union members and workers to quickly restore production and stabilize their lives, Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor has decided to establish 4 working delegations led by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor to visit and present gifts to support provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3.
Accordingly, the first working group was led by Mr. Vo Manh Son - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; the second group was led by Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; the third group was led by Mr. Mai Ba Nam - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; the fourth group was led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Working delegations of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor will visit and provide support to the following provinces and cities: Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, and Bac Giang.
At each of these units, Thanh Hoa Labor Federation awarded 100 million VND to support union members and workers affected by storms and floods.
At the Labor Federations of Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Son La, Bac Kan, and Thanh Hoa Province, each unit received 50 million VND. The total support budget for this period is 1.1 billion VND.
According to Mr. Vo Manh Son, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Labor Federation, the amount of support for each province is not large, but it is a sincere sentiment with the spirit of mutual love from union members, civil servants, and laborers of Thanh Hoa sent to union members and laborers in the area heavily affected by storm No. 3.
Representatives of union members, workers and local unions, leaders of the Labor Federation of Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province expressed their sincere thanks for the support of the Thanh Hoa Labor Federation and said they will join hands with all levels of the industry to support union members, workers and people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives soon.
On the same day, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Permanent Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation visited Phu Tho Provincial Labor Federation to send condolences and encouragement to union members and workers affected by storms and floods and presented 100 million VND in support.
Previously, on the afternoon of September 13, Mr. Nguyen Minh Canh and the working delegation of Thanh Hoa Labor Federation presented support of 100 million VND to union members and workers in Thai Nguyen province affected by storm No. 3 (YAGI).
Millions of arms turn to compatriots affected by storms and floods
Storms and floods have caused severe damage in many northern provinces.
