According to the Bim Son Town Labor Federation, in 2024, the impact of the global economic crisis, conflicts between countries around the world, natural disasters and floods, and high prices of input goods have greatly affected the production and business activities of enterprises. This also makes the lives and jobs of union members difficult. However, units, enterprises, and unions at all levels in the area have made great efforts to achieve positive results.
In 2024, Bim Son Town Trade Union at all levels supported and visited nearly 2,000 union members, with an amount of more than 1.4 billion VND.
With the motto "No one is left behind" and "All union members and workers have Tet", Bim Son town's trade unions at all levels have actively mobilized and called for support from Party committees, authorities, higher-level trade unions, organizations, businesses and benefactors to receive hundreds of gifts to give to union members in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" 2025, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Permanent Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - highly appreciated the efforts of Bim Son Town Labor Union at all levels, especially the work of supporting and caring for union members and workers in difficulty.
“Today, in the atmosphere of the Lunar New Year approaching, I hope that the gifts from units and businesses in the area given to workers will help union members to reduce their hardships and have a warmer and more fulfilling Tet holiday,” Ms. Hoa shared.
At the program, representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, Bim Son Town, the Town Federation of Labor and enterprises presented 270 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 230 million VND.
