On the morning of January 14, Mr. Le Van Nghia - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Project Management Board of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's Trade Union Institutions, led the delegation to visit and present gifts to union members and disadvantaged workers in Hoang Tien commune, Hoang Hoa district.
Also attending the gift-giving ceremony were Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa - Permanent Vice President of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of Hoang Hoa District Labor Federation and many union members and workers.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Le Van Nghia - Head of the Trade Union Institution Project Management Board, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said that with the motto "All union members have Tet", Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has issued plans and focused all resources to take good care of workers during Tet.
“Although the Tet gifts are not too big in terms of material value, they contain a lot of meaning, showing the concern of the Trade Union at all levels for union members and workers. In addition, they also help workers, especially those in difficult situations, to reduce their hardships, so that they can celebrate a warmer and more fulfilling Tet with their families,” Mr. Nghia shared.
At the gift-giving ceremony, representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thanh Hoa Provincial Confederation of Labor, and Hoang Hoa District Confederation of Labor presented 50 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
