On August 7, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation said that the Trade Union of Song Chu One Member Limited Liability Company in coordination with the Hac Thanh Ward Trade Union had just organized a working delegation to Quang Chieu commune, Thanh Hoa province, to visit, encourage and provide financial support for house repair for union member Vi Van Con.
Union member Vi Van Con currently works at Ba Thuoc Irrigation Branch under Song Chu One Member Limited Liability Company. His family is in particularly difficult circumstances, the house has seriously deteriorated, not ensuring safety, especially during the rainy and storm season. Due to difficult economic conditions, the family does not have the conditions to repair and renovate the house.
At the support handover ceremony, representatives of the Trade Union of Song Chu One Member Limited Liability Company and the Trade Union of Hac Thanh Ward visited and encouraged Mr. Vi Van Con's family, and at the same time presented 25 million VND from the Fund to support union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of Thanh Hoa Trade Union to repair and reinforce the house, contributing to helping the family soon stabilize their lives and feel secure in working.
Representatives of trade union levels hope that the support funds will help families overcome housing difficulties, feel secure in their work and continue to stick with the unit. This is also an activity that shows the spirit of solidarity, sharing and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The housing support program "Trade Union Shelter" is a meaningful social security activity, contributing to realizing the motto "Where union members are in difficulty, there are Trade Unions". Through the program, many union members and workers in difficult circumstances have been supported in building and repairing houses, gradually stabilizing their lives, being assured of working, producing and long-term attachment to businesses.
