On February 20, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tan - Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial Health Sector Trade Union - said that the Tien Giang Health Sector Trade Union had just successfully organized the 3rd Health Sector charm contest.

The contest took place with three parts: folk dance, behavior and charm. In particular, the folk dance competition shows solidarity through vibrant dances on the background music praising the homeland, country and profession. The behavioral round helps candidates demonstrate their communication skills and handling situations in communication with patients, colleagues and family. The charm competition is a traditional ao dai performance, honoring the elegant beauty of women in the medical industry.
After a day and night of competition, the organizing committee awarded the overall first prize to the Tien Giang General Hospital Trade Union.

According to Mr. Tan, the 3rd Medical Sector Beauty Contest in 2025 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27,55 - February 27, 2025) and the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 2010 - March 8, 2025) is not only a useful playground to create opportunities for female workers in the health sector to exchange and learn from experiences but also send a message about love for the profession, silent sacrifice and comprehensive beauty of "white-cheat flowers" in the health sector.
"In the health sector, female workers account for more than 63%, contributing significantly to the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health. For the past 70 years, the white-clad soldiers have not only been dedicated doctors, but also mothers, wives, children, putting aside their private happiness to volunteer for the epidemic, contributing to the treatment and protection of the lives of many patients" - Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial Health Trade Union Nguyen Trung Tan shared.
