On the afternoon of December 20, the Cai Lay District Labor Federation (Tien Giang Province) organized the handover of Trade Union Shelter houses to union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances.
At the ceremony, Cai Lay District Labor Federation presented a Union Shelter to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dep, a member of the Basic Union of Bodynits Tien Giang Company Limited.
Ms. Dep's house has an area of 65 square meters, the construction cost 86 million VND. Of which, the Trade Union Shelter Fund of Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor supported 50 million VND from the mobilization of the Trade Union of Agribank Tien Giang branch, the rest was contributed by the family.
At the handover ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien - Chairman of the Cai Lay District Labor Federation - congratulated Ms. Dep and her family on their new house. At the same time, he hoped that Ms. Dep and her family would continue to strive to improve their lives, save money to renovate the house, and work hard at the unit, continuing to be associated with the Trade Union organization.
According to Mr. Kien, the Trade Union Shelter Housing Program has become one of the social activities with widespread influence, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and affection, affirming the true value of the Trade Union organization as a "home". The program has brought practical results, contributing positively to eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and realizing the dream of settling down for workers.
