Accordingly, on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025, the District Labor Federation organized free health check-ups and cancer screening for 82 union members of the school sector with an amount of 81.59 million VND and 5 cases of union members' relatives receiving support for health insurance cards, with a total support amount of 6.318 million VND.
At the same time, the District Labor Federation has deployed 183 union members of 12 grassroots unions to borrow from the Capital's Poor Workers and Civil Servants' Capital Support Fund to develop family economy with an amount of 5.9 billion VND...
The Long Bien District Labor Federation currently manages 127 grassroots trade unions in the school sector, including 94 public schools and 33 private schools with 5,391 employees. 5,158/5,391 are union members.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the trade unions of schools have coordinated with the government to focus on directing and organizing the implementation of planned targets and tasks, gradually innovating the effective organization of activities, in accordance with the conditions of each educational institution; effectively carry out propaganda work, perform well the function of caring for and representing the legitimate and legal rights and interests of cadres, teachers and employees.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, 94/95 schools organized conferences for cadres, civil servants, and workers, reaching 100%; 28/33 non-public schools organized conferences for workers, reaching 84%.
