Although the production and business situation is still facing difficulties, with a sense of responsibility, businesses still ensure good policies and welfare for employees, such as: salary, bonus; Lunar New Year bonus At Ty 2025 increased from 2.86% to 12.5% compared to Lunar New Year Giap Thin 2024.
Over the past year, the Capital's Trade Union at all levels has also allocated over 200 billion VND from the Trade Union budget to visit, care for, and support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, and to support the repair and construction of 35 "Trade Union Shelters".
Especially on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty - 2025, in order to take care of and practically support the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; with the motto of not letting any union member or worker go without Tet, the Hanoi City Labor Federation has focused resources to take care of and support workers in difficulty, with a total amount of over 42 billion VND.
This creates peace of mind, encourages and motivates union members and workers to stick with the business, stick with the Trade Union organization, work with higher productivity and higher quality.
At the "Tet Sum Vay" program 2025, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee also decided to support and give 30,000 gifts to 30,000 workers, civil servants and laborers in difficult circumstances in the City, with a total amount of 15 billion VND.
The leaders of the City Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also spent time and attention visiting, giving gifts and encouraging workers.
This is a great source of encouragement, motivation, special care and attention of the City leaders and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the Capital and the activities of the Capital Trade Union.
Speaking at the Tet Sum vay - Xuan an on Party, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang expressed his joy to know that this year, a total of more than 103,000 union members and workers will be supported and cared for by the City Labor Federation and the direct superior trade unions at the grassroots level with a total expected amount of nearly 70 billion VND (equivalent to 12% of the total number of workers, an increase of 2% compared to 2024).
On this occasion, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor would like to express his sincere thanks to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee, the National Assembly Delegation, and the agencies, departments, branches, unions, Party committees, local authorities, and units in the City for their attention, direction, coordination, and effective support for the activities of the Capital Trade Union and for always paying attention and supporting the Trade Union organization at important political forums and believes that in the coming time, they will continue to receive attention and support.
Regarding the 2025 task, Chairman Nguyen Dinh Khang suggested that the Capital Trade Union at all levels should continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, effectively organize the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Trade Union Congress at all levels, in which it is necessary to focus on implementing a number of contents well. In particular, actively and proactively participate in the work of innovating and rearranging the organization of the political system according to Resolution No. 18 dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee.
Focus on developing plans for innovation and reorganization of the City Labor Federation, industry unions, grassroots unions, affiliated public service units, and reorganizing and restructuring the team of full-time union officials according to the orientation and direction of the Hanoi Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Focus on better performing the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, workers, civil servants, etc.
