Hanoi Trade Union exchanges operational experience with Seoul Capital Trade Union

Hanoi On November 4, the Hanoi City Labor Federation said that the unit had a seminar with the Seoul City Labor Union Federation (Korea).

The seminar took place during the working visit to Korea by the Hanoi City Labor Federation at the invitation of the Seoul City Labor Union Federation.

Accordingly, the seminar between the Hanoi City Labor Federation Delegation and the Seoul City Labor Federation took place under the chairmanship of Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Permanent Vice President in charge of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, Head of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Delegation and Mr. Kim Ki Chul - Chairman of the Seoul City Labor Federation.

The two sides exchanged and shared many important contents related to the political, economic and social situation, as well as trade union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in the two cities.

The issues discussed by both sides include: Employment, improving the lives of workers, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members through negotiating and signing Collective Labor Agreements; implementing the democratic Regulations at agencies and enterprises; organizing patriotic emulation movements among workers and civil servants; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; training, fostering and improving the capacity of union cadres; experience in building a strong union organization...

On this occasion, Mr. Kim Ki Chul - Chairman of the Seoul City Trade Union Federation expressed his appreciation for the affection and cooperative relationship of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, and highly appreciated the results of friendly cooperation between the two sides in recent times.

The Chairman of the Seoul City Trade Union Federation expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Capital Trade Unions of the two countries will continue to maintain a strong relationship, promote exchange activities, delegation exchanges, and learn from experience to improve the effectiveness of representation work, protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

During the working program, the Hanoi City Labor Federation delegation visited and exchanged experiences with a number of grassroots trade unions under the Seoul City Trade Union Federation. At the meetings, Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Head of the delegation provided general information on the cooperative relationship between the Capital Trade Unions of the two countries in recent years, introducing the socio-economic development situation, trade union activities and the movement of workers and civil servants in Hanoi City in the context of deep integration.

With this working visit to Korea, taking place from October 27 to 31, of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, both sides expressed their desire to continue to strengthen the traditional friendly and cooperative relationship between the Hanoi Capital Trade Union and the Seoul Capital Trade Union, contributing to strengthening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two capitals - two important political, cultural and economic centers of Vietnam and Korea.
