The General Secretary assigned the new Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee
On the morning of November 4, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. General Secretary To Lam attended the conference.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee stopped participating in the 13th Party Secretariat, was transferred, assigned, and appointed to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.
Speaking at the conference, General Secretary To Lam congratulated Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc on being trusted by the Central Government and assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee. This is an honor and pride, and at the same time demonstrates the trust of the Party and the expectations of the people, assigning the responsibility of the head of the Capital to Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
General Secretary To Lam assessed that Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc is a leader with basic training, matured from practice; has worked for many years at Hanoi City Police, held many positions and has a lot of experience in advising, leading, directing, and contributing to the common cause of the Capital and the country.
In particular, in the recent past, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc has been very active with the Politburo and the Secretariat in directing the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic tasks, contributing significantly to bringing the country into a new stage of development.
General Secretary To Lam hopes and believes that with practical experience, maturity from the grassroots, and understanding of the Capital, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc will continue to work with the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to unite, unite, and strive to successfully complete the Resolution of the 18th City Party Congress.
In the immediate future, the city will focus on coordinating with central agencies to ensure good conditions for political security, social order and safety in the city, contributing to the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Party;
Building and developing Hanoi worthy of its position as the capital of a thousand years of culture, economic and political center; the center of development, growth, and innovation of the whole country.
General Secretary To Lam suggested that leaders, cadres and party members of Hanoi continue to support, coordinate and help Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc to excellently complete the assigned tasks. Central departments, ministries and branches focus on supporting Hanoi City in implementing the Resolution of the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress.
