During Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, trade union levels in the area have implemented many practical activities to care for union members and workers; promote propaganda, apply digital technology and organize emulation movements associated with professional tasks.
Notably, more than 1,100 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were visited and supported with a total budget of nearly 1 billion VND. Trade union organization development continues to be concerned with 11 newly established grassroots trade unions, attracting 456 union members to participate.
Within the framework of the program, Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union launched the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026-2031 to encourage union members and workers to improve their professional qualifications, promote initiatives, and promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation and artificial intelligence in work.
At the summary conference, Ba Dinh Ward Trade Union commended 20 typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers; commended 20 students who are children of workers, civil servants, and laborers who overcame difficulties and studied well in the 2025-2026 school year; awarded prizes for the "AI Innovation - Spreading Labor Spirit" contest in 2026 and awarded decisions to establish 10 new grassroots trade unions in the area.
