Hanoi - Bo De Ward Trade Union achieves 280% of the target of establishing grassroots trade unions in the first 6 months of 2026.

Right before the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026), Bo De Ward Trade Union awarded new establishment decisions to 13 grassroots trade unions in the area. Along with that, the Ward Trade Union also awarded decisions recognizing union members and appointing the interim grassroots trade union executive committee.

The establishment of grassroots trade unions contributes to gathering workers, improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

With 13 newly established grassroots trade unions, Bo De Ward Trade Union proposed to quickly develop operating regulations and work programs; assign specific tasks to each member; proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers; closely coordinate with unit leaders to care for the lives and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.

In addition, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union needs to focus on propagating and mobilizing union members to well implement the Party's guidelines; policies and laws of the State; internal regulations and rules of the unit; organize practical emulation movements, suitable to the characteristics of operation.

It is known that in the first 6 months of 2026, Bo De Ward Trade Union established 13 new grassroots trade unions, reaching 280% of the target assigned by the Hanoi City Labor Federation.
