This activity is organized by Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. in coordination with 108 Military Central Hospital.
Attending the event were representatives of the Company's Board of Directors, leaders of the 108 Military Central Hospital , the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Trade Union, the Party Committee of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Management Board, and 314 union members and workers. The result was 314 qualified blood units.
Previously, on August 22, the first phase of the “Meiko Blood Donation Day 2024” had the participation of 376 officials, union members, and workers . Among them were foreign company leaders.
In total, nearly 800 union members and employees registered and participated in blood donation in both sessions. This result was achieved thanks to the propaganda and mobilization of the Company's grassroots union for nearly 2 months and especially thanks to the Company's leaders creating favorable conditions for union members and employees to donate blood during working hours. In addition to propaganda and mobilization of union members and employees to register and participate in voluntary blood donation, the grassroots union also supported all costs of this activity.
With more than 5,000 cadres, union members and employees, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. not only take good care of the union members and employees of the Company but also focus on activities demonstrating the social responsibility of the enterprise.
“Meiko Blood Donation Day 2024” is one of the activities that clearly demonstrates the Company's social responsibility and has high humanitarian significance.
On this occasion, the leaders of 108 Central Military Hospital would like to express their deep gratitude to the leaders, the Company's Trade Union and especially thank nearly 800 cadres, union members and workers who donated blood, showing the spirit of sharing with patients in need of blood.
Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Trade Union of Meiko Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. thanked the union members and employees who participated in blood donation and thanked the Company's Board of Directors for creating conditions for union members and employees to donate blood during working hours; at the same time, Mr. Hai also thanked the staff and leaders of the 108 Military Central Hospital for coordinating the two blood donation campaigns organized by the Company, along with the attention and encouragement of the Party Committee of the Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Management Board.
