Promote union member development and establish grassroots unions

Hanoi - Currently, the Capital's Trade Unions at all levels are focusing on promoting union development and establishing grassroots trade unions.

Up to now, the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation has mobilized 20 new units to establish grassroots unions with more than 986 union members, and mobilized more than 3,325 workers at units that have established grassroots unions to join the union organization, bringing the number of grassroots unions directly managed by the District Labor Federation to 496 grassroots unions with 27,214 union members.

Most recently, at the end of October, the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation established the Huy Thanh Gold - Silver - Gemstone Company Limited's grassroots union.

At the launching ceremony of the Huy Thanh Gold - Silver - Gemstone Company's Trade Union, Ms. Doan Thi Lan - representing the collective of employees presented an application to join the Trade Union. Accordingly, after a period of studying and researching the Vietnam Trade Union Charter and being guided and introduced to the Trade Union by the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation, the staff, employees and workers of Huy Thanh Gold - Silver - Gemstone Company really wanted to join the Trade Union, so they voluntarily submitted an application.

Workers are also very grateful to receive attention and support in the process of mobilizing union members and establishing a Trade Union organization from the Ba Dinh District Labor Federation and the Company's Board of Directors.
