Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation presented 40 million VND to support the construction of a Union Shelter to Ms. Dinh Thi Yen, an employee of Vien Noi Kindergarten, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
Ms. Yen's husband is a freelancer with an unstable income. The couple's total monthly income is about 12 million VND, not enough to cover living expenses for the couple, 2 young children and the sick elderly mother who needs regular treatment. Due to difficult family circumstances, Ms. Yen's family accepted to live in a level 4 house that had seriously degraded, with cracked walls and leaky roofs, always humid and flooded every time it rained.
With the support of the Hanoi City Labor Federation and the help of relatives and friends, Ms. Dinh Thi Yen's family decided to build a new, spacious and solid house. The project started in April 2025 and was completed in August 2025, ensuring design, quality and has been put into use.
Receiving support from the Trade Union organization, Ms. Dinh Thi Yen was very touched and thanked the Trade Union organization and the School for giving her more motivation both materially and spiritually to help the family realize her dream of a spacious house.
