On April 11, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that the 2025 National Sambo Club Championship held in Vung Tau had closed, awarding medals to fighters with high achievements.
In which, Thai Nguyen excellently led the whole group with 6 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals and 3 Bronze medals.
Second place for the whole group was Ho Chi Minh City with 4 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals and 11 Bronze medals. The home team Ba Ria - Vung Tau holds the third place overall with 4 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal and 7 Bronze medals.
Previously, the tournament took place from April 8, attracting nearly 200 fighters to compete in the Sport Sambo and Combat Sambo events. In the tournament, famous fighters of the home team such as Tran Thanh Hien and Duong Thi Quynh Nhu played impressively, winning gold medals in both events.
