U14 players in Vietnam have the opportunity to rub shoulders with the Japanese youth team, thereby accessing training methods and a professional football environment.

Within the framework of the Pocari Sweat - Japan Football Dream season 2 project, the U14 Tokushima Vortis team (Japan) came to Vietnam for the first time with full members including club leaders, coaching staff and young players to participate in a series of football exchange activities.

The series of friendly matches takes place from July 23 to 25 at Hoa Lu Stadium (HCMC), with the participation of 4 U14 teams including Tokushima Vortis, Thong Nhat Sports Center, Becamex HCMC and Can Tho. This is an opportunity for young Vietnamese players to rub shoulders with international opponents, and at the same time approach the playing style and training methods of Japanese football.

Hopefully these matches will help them better understand the professional football environment in Japan, and also have more motivation to pursue their goals," Mr. Otani shared.

Meanwhile, coach Dinh Hong Vinh - Professional Advisor of the project assessed that playing with the Japanese team helps young players gain more practical experience in tactical thinking, handling speed and personality in competition.
