Thanh Hoa representative wins the International Youth Student Championship

On the afternoon of March 30, the final match of the 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup took place with the participation of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Laos University.

The match was exciting right after the opening whistle. In the 19th minute, in an unexpected situation, defender Xaysombath Bounphaeng of the University of Laos broke the ball into his own net, creating an opportunity for the Vietnamese team to take a 1-0 lead. In the 37th minute, Le Van Thuc increased the score to 2-0 for the representative from Thanh Hoa with a dangerous shot.

In the second half, Laos University took a strong stand and scored a goal in the 43rd minute thanks to a solo run through three defenders by Khamkheng. However, the solid defense of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism did not give the opponent more opportunities. The Thanh team successfully defended the 2-1 victory and won the championship.

With this victory, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism not only completed its double title in 2025 but also brought great pride to both the school and Vietnamese student football. This is an important milestone, opening up great prospects for Vietnamese student football in the international arena in the future.
