The 2025 Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament is organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in coordination with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). The tournament has also been officially included in the annual national competition system of VFF and the Vietnam Student Sports Tournament (VUG).

The final round of the tournament gathered 11 teams, along with the home team Ton Duc Thang University. The teams are divided into 3 groups, competing in a round-robin to calculate ranking points. The top 3 teams, the bottom 3 teams and the 2 teams with the best results will enter the quarter-finals.
The quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals are played in a knockout format. If after 80 minutes of official play, the score is equal, the two teams will enter a penalty shootout to determine the winning team.
The total prize of the 2025 Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament is 800 million VND, of which the champion team will receive 300 million VND. The organizing committee also awarded secondary awards such as the styling Award, Referee Team for Excellent completion of tasks, Best Player of the Final Round, Outstanding Team, Fair-play Cheerleading Award, Beautiful Dance, Inspirational Dance, etc.
