On March 26, Hai Van Ward Police (Da Nang City) coordinated with forest rangers to release a rare culi individual back into the natural environment.
Previously, on the evening of March 25, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, residing on Nguyen Phuoc Chu street, Hai Van ward, discovered a strange animal moving on the air conditioner heater placed outside the wall of the house.
Suspecting it was a rare wild animal, Mr. Binh quickly reported it to the Hai Van Ward Police.


Immediately after receiving the information, the police force coordinated with forest rangers to be present at the scene for inspection. Through identification, the above-mentioned animal individual is a culi, in stable health condition.
After completing the necessary procedures, functional forces released the culi individual back to its natural environment.
Cu li is a small primate, belonging to group IA in the List of endangered, precious, and rare forest plants and animals, which is strictly protected according to the provisions of law.
The incident shows the proactive spirit and awareness of wildlife protection of the people, and at the same time contributes to spreading the message of joining hands to preserve biodiversity.
