Da Nang City People's Committee said that in Official Dispatch No. 1957/UBND-KT dated March 23, 2026, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested relevant units to strengthen inspection and supervision; promptly grasp market developments, supply and demand, gasoline and LPG selling prices. At the same time, strictly handle acts of speculation, hoarding goods, profiteering, affecting production and business activities and people's needs.

According to the direction, member agencies of the City Steering Committee 389 strictly implement regulations on gasoline and oil business, focusing on inspecting and handling the situation of businesses taking advantage of scarce supply sources to hoard goods, waiting for price increases.
The Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to closely monitor the gasoline and oil supply situation in the area; coordinate with units to strengthen market inspection and supervision, promptly detect abnormal signs such as scarcity of goods, supply disruption or unreasonable price increases to handle according to regulations.
Along with that, functional forces coordinate to ensure security and order at gasoline and oil business stores, control the transportation and circulation of gasoline and oil into the inner city when necessary to promptly supplement goods sources.
People's Committees of wards and communes are required to monitor the operations of gasoline and oil retail stores and LPG business establishments in the area; promptly detect unusual signs such as stopping sales for no legitimate reason, selling at prices not in accordance with the listed price.
Petroleum businesses must proactively source goods, ensure stable supply to the market; strictly comply with regulations on prices and quality and not allow speculation, hoarding, or sales interruptions to occur.
